Following on from the MICH 2000 we have my newest addition, I have recently picked up an OPs Core Fast helmet. This doesnt need too much work but theres enough to do to make it fun, the helmet and its accompaniments was a good buy as you can see:
the first thing to do though is to spray the helmet, as you can see its very dark brown rather then tan. Once done its time to add the velcro and then adjust the pads inside to fit the new replica peltors i have picked up. In addition there is the surefire light and the v-lite from the other helmet to fit on here too. The helmet is a nice fit and the new suspension system they have replicated in it is very comfy.
Once the weathers better I will be able to spray and all being well that will be after christmas day.
hope you like.
Millest's Wargaming Blog! It will no doubt end up becoming a place for my own odd thoughts! However its meant to start life as a Wargaming, hobby and painting blog. It will also be a book review site, a bit of a product review page, an airsoft blog and in places lots of other things, but over all I hope it will be a good read!

Airsoft Armoury - MICH 2000 Helmet Work in Progress
Hi folks,
as an expansion on the airsoft armoury theme I've decided to share some of my kit projects with you. At the moment I'm in the process of upgrading all my kit, I have recently moved on to Multicam kit (more details in a later post) so with that in mind I have decided to update my helmet collection.
First up is my old MICH 200, as you can see this is a bog standard olive coloured helmet made from fibreglass.
nothing special I know but to improve it and bring it more in line with current trends and helmet tech I have this little lot to add to the beastie:
my first improvement will be to spray the helmet with a skin style pattern (the scrim is for that) before adding the following accessories:
Any questions on the helmet, parts or anything please let me know.

Forge World Newsletter #328 - Lightning Fighter, Justaerin Terminators and Mk IV weapons
As always all the important bits below:
=========================================
Hi there,
It’s now only a few days until Christmas, but there’s no respite
here at Forge World. We’ll be working throughout the festive period, and our
opening times are listed later in today’s newsletter. First, though, we’re
excited to announce no less than five fantastic releases, all of which are available
to pre-order now for despatch
early in the New Year!
Voss Pattern
Lightning Strike Fighter
Following the Saint-Saen Crusade’s liberation of twelve worlds in the Segmentum Obscurus, STC patterns were recovered for an air superiority fighter, smaller and more agile than the iconic Thunderbolt. The Lightning has since been disseminated to other worlds with strong ties to the Imperial Navy – notably Bakka and Hydraphur – and production has recently begun within the Segmentum Solar, resulting in the Voss Pattern Lightning Strike Fighter.

The ‘Strike’ variant of
the Lightning is equipped with a potent armament of six Hellstrike missiles as
well as its twin-linked lascannon, fulfilling a dedicated ground attack role.
Designed by Daren Parrwood, the Voss Pattern Lightning Strike
Fighter is a detailed multi-part resin kit, supplied with a twin-linked
lascannon and six Hellstrike missiles. This model is fielded using the rules
for the Lightning, which can be found in Imperial Armour Aeronautica.
Sons of Horus
Justaerin Terminators and Justaerin Weapon Set
The black-armoured Justaerin were the pride of the XVI Legion Astartes. Tasked with forming the ‘point of the spear’, their attacks were directed at the heart of an opposing target or a decapitation strike against an enemy force. The Justaerin and their commander, First Captain Ezekyle Abaddon, were early proponents of Tactical Dreadnought armour, and many entered combat in singularly-modified Cataphractii pattern Terminator plate.

Designed by Will Hayes, the Justaerin Terminators set contains five detailed multi-part
resin models, each packed with Legion-specific iconography. Will has also
designed a Justaerin Weapons Set, which contains a multi-melta, four
Phobos-pattern combi-bolters and five Cthonian-pattern power axes. The
Justaerin bodies can be combined
with our Cataphractii Power Fists, Power Axes and Special Weapons sets as well as the new Justaerin
weapons, allowing for a huge variety of modelling options.
Full rules and background for
using the Justaerin can be found in The Horus Heresy Book One: Betrayal, and if you want to discover more
about these elite warriors and their Legion, we recommend the Black Library
classic Horus Rising and an exclusive audio short from the
BL Advent Calendar; Warmaster
by John French.

=========================================
The HH kits as always are frigging amazing but i am really loving the new pattern lightning, something about it is just hardcore, shame i cant quite figure out a way to get one (or two) in my list, but my faithful vulture and valkyries are enough airpower for me at a minute.
