Friday 5 Finds - 04.09.10

Well folks after yesterdays Forgeworld email I thought it best to hold off for a day before posting the five finds to give people chance to see the latest news and also get a good look at the links. so with out further ado this weeks Five Finds:

1. This week Dave Taylor announces another charity project for himself, this guy does so many things to move the hobby on and point it in a great direction, kudos to the gent and get yourself over there for more information and details. I will be hopefully getting some more info off him once its available so keep your eyes peeled!
2. Next we have the 291st Death Korps of Krieg blog, its that good and the models that inspiring that rather then a single post I have decided to reference the whole blog! seriously worth a look for those interested in DKOK and any modelling ideas.
3. We now have Masteroftherforge.com, again an excellent blog, once again I'm linking to the whole blog as there are some truly special Marine conversions on there and some of the best modelling tips about. A great site for any Space Marine and Lamenters fan.
4. On to Bushido's Blog now with a brilliant looking squad of converted Combat Medics for the Sons of Horus, one of the best "counts as" squads out there. simple and convincing.
5. Dark Future Games have a post up linking to and talking about the now Ad-mech Shoulder pads, Skull Space Marine Helmets as well as icons for Flesh Tearers and Space Wolves Rhino bits from chapterhouse studios.

As I've been late in posting the Friday 5 Finds I thought I would treat you to a couple of other links to help you pass the time, so here they are:

• Mywargame.com presents a count down of their Top Ten Pre-Heresy models and sites.
• 40k Hobby blog discuss Army Painter Primer and its issues, but does show a nice looking mini.
• Awakening Ynnead gives some nice simple tips on how to paint chipped metal and provides some useful links.
